Emergency Services are the units of hospitals that are located in an area that is easy to access and where ambulances can approach, and that provide this service to patients who require Emergency Health Intervention.

In emergency services, first interventions are made for situations such as heart attack, trauma, burns, which cannot be expected to be looked at with an appointment system. In summary, emergency services intervene in sudden situations, not diseases.

Preliminary examinations of the patients who apply to the emergency service are made in the Triage area, and their urgency is determined and necessary guidance is provided.

Some of the situations that require applying to the Emergency Service are as follows;

  • Bleeding caused by injuries, accidents or chronic diseases of the person
  • ignition
  • chest pain, tightness
  • Gynecological emergencies (vaginal bleeding, labor pain, all kinds of strong and persistent pain in pregnant women, pain, blood pressure rise/fall)
  • Shortness of breath
  • Loss of consciousness or confusion
  • Injuries and fractures as a result of trauma
  • Motor vehicle accidents
  • Accidents at work
  • Head and neck trauma
  • All kinds of sudden movement disorders, loss of sensation, stroke, paralysis
  • sudden onset speech disorder
  • Developing severe pain in any part of the body
  • Severe nausea, vomiting, severe diarrhea and dehydration (dehydration)
  • Attacks caused by chronic diseases (such as psychotic attack, COPD, asthma, migraine)
  • Severe sucking difficulties in infants, incessant crying, pupil size change, excessive inactivity
  • Psychiatric emergencies (panic attacks, psychotic crises, increased aggression)
  • Allergic reactions (such as shortness of breath, urticaria, swelling of the skin and face, blistering, excessive itching)
  • Suspicion of poisoning
  • Severe sucking difficulties in infants, incessant crying, pupil size change, excessive inactivity
  • Animal bites and stings
