The responsibilities of a specialist dietitian are as follows;

• To inform clients and community members about the basic rules of healthy eating, habits of healthy eating and improving the quality of life.
• Assess people's health status and needs
• Preparing diet programs for people's needs
• Developing low-calorie and healthy diet products and creating menus for use in school health institutions and corporate cafeterias
• Advising business managers on cleaning, safety procedures, menu development, budgeting and planning to assist in the operation and evaluation of food service facilities
• Testing new food products and equipment
• To conduct research to provide information on medical issues.
