Thoracic surgery; It is a branch of medicine that deals with traumas and surgical treatments of diseases such as ribs, chest wall, lung membranes, mediastinum, diaphragm, esophagus, except the heart and main vessels in the chest cavity. One of the most common diseases is lung cancer. Lung cancer is the uncontrolled proliferation of cells in the lung tissues to form tumors. As this tumor grows, it spreads to the surrounding tissues in later stages, causing problems. In addition, it is characterized by symptoms such as increasing cough, shortness of breath, loss of appetite and weight loss, chest pain, difficulty in swallowing and hoarseness, frequent infections, drooping of the eyelids, and clubbing in the soft tissue of the hands, body pain, and toes.
