Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is a branch of science that deals with the diagnosis and treatment of diseases, injuries and subsequent or congenital anomalies related to soft and hard tissues in the jaws and face, and performs the necessary surgical treatment under local anesthesia, general anesthesia or sedation in the operating room environment.
